Each year we have a very special luncheon honoring the recipients of the Barona/VCAT Award for Excellence in Indian Gaming Marketing. This year, Black Oak Casino and the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians were our very honored guests.

Raving Insider Party
You have studied hard in the classroom. You have done your on-floor assignment. You have participated in small group workshops. You have met your counterparts from across the country and learned from them. WHEW! Time to celebrate your time with us before you head back to your casino. Held the last evening of every conference, the Raving Insider Party can't be missed. This year, attendees fulfilled their rock star fantasies by doing karaoke to a live rock band. Raving's VP of Marketing, Toby O'Brien, closed the show (in a good way!) with "Proud Mary."

Property Back of the House Tour
Our host property is just that, they truly "host" our attendees and have a very active presence at our conference. On the second evening of the conference, attendees have the opportunity to get a "behind the scenes" look at the property – focused on what they do best, including new technology or a unique way or approach to a facet of their business. It's always interesting and yet another way to learn, learn, learn.
