Raving’s National Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference
January 28 – 30, 2019
Pechanga Resort & Casino, Temecula, CA
A unique learning experience pertinent to tribal casinos today:
Our long-running, signature conference is specifically designed for tribal gaming executives. Hundreds of casinos in U.S. and Canada have sent their marketing teams, GMs and tribal decision makers for courses in casino marketing strategies that work for tribal casinos.
The conference, encompasses three days of relevant presentations, hands-on workshops, signature networking events and tradeshow.
Starting Monday, we kick off with a new, full-day event, Raving's NEXT Conference and then welcome everyone to Raving’s 20th National Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference that evening. Most folks attend both, the topics complement each other.
The topics are personally developed by our team who works with our tribal gaming clients out in the field – to make sure we’re hitting the subjects that are pertinent to you, today, on your gaming floor. And we know that “Marketing” encompasses a lot more than it did just a few years ago. That’s why we cover everything from technology, electronic marketing, database and player tracking, to sales skills, player development, direct marketing and promotions. Got questions? Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
Learning the Raving way!
Traditional conferences go like this: a subject matter expert teaches from the podium to the masses. The flow is from one to many, in one direction. This is how it’s been done since elementary school and worked for half of us, and the other half of us got bored. Then, we preach that learning from your peers is critical. Plus, we expect you to connect with that fellow marketing director (who just bought the system that you’re researching) during networking breaks. Yeah, that’s nearly impossible. This year we are committed to more organized interaction between you and your peers as well as designing a more interactive classroom. In addition to our popular small group workshops, we’ve added tools like interactive polling, an attendee engagement app and roundtables. After all, not everyone learns in the same way, and we want you to get the most out of your time with us.
Do you have a specific goal for attending this conference and want to make sure that you return to your property with a good understanding of that topic? Book a one-on-one coaching session with a presenter prior to the show! Learn more

What we can learn from the first Native American Astronaut
Join us for this motivating story of a man who has always asked, “What’s Next?” Who has devoted his life, after space travel, to understand the motivating factors behind why some Native American students are successful at pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and who have overcome incredible odds to achieve their dream of an education. Be reminded of how every day we have the power to attain our own impossible dream. Read more

Celebrating Organizations That Give Back
The Tribal Spirit Of Giving Celebration
Tribal governments have a history of uncommon generosity and support in their communities. However, most often, few outside these communities are aware of these success stories and the valuable work that is being accomplished. This is your time to share your organization's story. We'll celebrate all entries at a special luncheon at Choctaw Casino Resort, Durant during Raving's 20th National Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference.
Submissions will open in September 2018 for the fourth annual Tribal Spirit of Giving Celebration. To prep ahead, here is a list of the questions you will be asked: Tribal Spirit Questions.pdf
If you would like to learn more about next year's program, email Gency Warren today. Let the inspiration begin!

Inspiring words from Nike N7 Visionary
Sam McCracken, grew up on the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux reservation in northeastern Montana got his start in Nike’s Wilsonville warehouse in 1997. Thirteen years later, in 2000, Sam’s had a big vision: the idea to sell Nike products directly to Native American tribes to support health promotion and disease prevention programs. He called it N7.
He pitched a Fortune 500 Company, the biggest sports company in the world, to help his community. He will share his story with conference attendees and Tribal Spirit of Giving Program participants. He will remind us that our roles in the tribal gaming community extend so much farther than the numbers on our spreadsheets. Read more

Raving’s Engagement Laboratory
Sponsored by Engaged Nation
We coach our casino clients to “engage” with their patrons more and more. It’s the 21st century after all, right? Build loyalty on the floor, off the floor, as well as off -property. But what does this really mean? At this year’s conference, we will create our own “engagement laboratory” for our conference attendees by using software that is available to your casino right now – compliments of gamified marketing leaders and Raving Partner, Engaged Nation.
Before and during the conference, you’ll get to know the attendees, presenters, and exhibitors through interactive and fun social games and quizzes. You will earn points towards valuable coupons from our host property that you can use while you’re on-site, as well as earn entries into our final drawing for amazing CASH and prizes at the last session of the conference.
We’re ready to walk the walk and show you what Raving’s version of “engagement” is – giving you inspiration to take back to your casino. Sound interesting? Stay tuned for more!
